# Problems with static spawning

I started playing this game about a week ago and changed from .2 to .3, and the static spawn isnt going off, no matter what I try. Is this happening to anyone else? And is there any fixes?

First, disabled the “Static spawn” option in ? \> 2 (Or help \> 2)  
And yes, seems like some people are having the same problem. If they do a 0.31 or something like that, they will fix it. If not… Stick with it…

I am running linux with the bleeding edge compile.  
Regardless of what the settings are I am getting static spawns.

Please see my post also in the bugs forum for a detailed explanation and hopefully a dev can make it into a commit.
