# Possibility of EMP mine for manageable vehicle obstacle and challenges?

You don’t NEED all the computers and stuff, but a lot of it is there for a very good reason. ESP has saved my bacon a few times now, not to mention the time a friend’s station wagon lost braking in one wheel entirely but we couldn’t tell because it was being balanced out.

“Smoother ride” can also include not skidding into the back of some douche-bag’s truck.

We could definitely mark some engines as emp-proof, I’m not clear on whether you can retrofit it.
