# New use for all that wood ash?

Converting wood ash into calcium oxide (quicklime) via saturation, drying, then forge/kiln firing.

Can also use it for lye. Not sure if this is already possible in game though.

You can use wood ash as fertilizer in real life. My cousin is using it to grow garlic and chive =D
