# Misplacing dropped items

So I’m curious if this is happening to anyone else, sometimes when I go to drop off things in my inventory they get put down one tile to the left or right. At first I thought I was just hitting the wrong buttons but I know for sure its not that because it goes diagonally when I use the arrow keys. It’s not a huge deal but I’d be lying if it doesn’t annoy the hell out of me after I accidentally mix up my organized loot piles.

I’ve never noticed this, but then I always use shift+D and ‘place’ items wherever I want them…

It only seems to happen when using the arrow keys, if you use the numpad it works properly.

Shift is a modifier for the arrow keys that turns them to diagonals. Try turning that option off.

Same problem. I use numpad. Seems like an important bug to fix.

How do I turn off the shift modifier to make arrow keys diagonal? I’ve been having a hell of a time with this.

Go to settings and disable it.
