# Marloss - do i need to eat it?

in the Lore subforum there is no post about Marloss.  
where to know - what do and what get to me and what take from me Marloss berries?

or maybe i need to fear this?

One you eat enough Marloss berries and get Marloss Carrier, you get free infinite food. If you want to turn that down then that’s your problem.

I’ve never made a character that found a fungal bloom and didn’t make it to the endgame. It’s easily the single best thing that can happen to a new character.

The original Marloss Man was able to get Marloss berries on the first day. He was the first character I had that made it more than a season.
