# Kitchen unit hotplates don't draw power from vehicle batteries

Hello,
I am writing about something the same as has been mentioned over a year ago, here:

On spawned RVs (I only tried it with those, but multiple times in the same playthrough) the kitchen unit will give one of the “Your hotplate has 0 charges but needs 5.” messages despite having a nonempty battery installed in the RV. In the linked post it was said that it had been fixed, but at least for me the bug still persists.
I am using Win XP, game version 0.E-2733-g6a45cf7
I believe either the fix has somehow been lost, or the bug been reintroduced another way in the meantime.
