I would advise against sending physical stuff for the rewards on the kickstarter page, especially if no one on the project has any experience mass mailing, or commonly sends packages larger than an envelope with a delivery service. Most kickstarter projects go into the red because of this aspect. Getting the stuff together might be easy, but sending boxes of stuff on freight is not as easy (or as cheap) as it sounds.
As part of the Kickstarter program, we're going to have up to 5 hand assembled "Survivor Kits" as the most expensive tier-level.
Well, five’o’em is a nice way of saying - “Thank you” without offending the others. That’s why I’m suggesting a four-stack of batteries, wrapped, vacusealed and showing both game logo and its name.
How about the set of themed books from the game? You can package together mini-books with the titles in game. ( half sized a real book, dosen’t need writing inside)
Speaking of books, how about a book of throwing that will increase my skill level to 10, so i can one shot bears with a rock?
Misc survival items: Paracord braclet (real paracord please) I’d pay a considerable amount for a swiss army knife or leatherman with a Cataclysm logo on it, but my “considerable amount” is probably less than it’d cost us to buy/make/ship them at profit Fishing kit (line, hook, sinkers, you supply the stick and bobber).
Related issue: Any physical items that we do ship should have in-game representations.
