# Keybinding Critical Error Stable Console Release

I’ve been playing around with the keybindings from various menus, and suddenly the interface is garbled irreversibly.

Is there a way to restore default keybindings? I have no idea what I changed to cause this.

Also, I’d just like to say the way keybindings work, local versus global, is…wonky to say the least. Perhaps an explanation in the manual?

You should be able to nuke your keybindings file in the config folder, and that’ll restore the current DDA defaults.

I’m not familiar with the global/local diff either, though. :-/
