# Keeping Hybrid Inventory up To Date

I’ve been using hybrid inventory for a few months now and my head breaks if I go back to a non-hybrid version of the game.
Where that build is kept up to date on the authors end I feel like a pain if I ask for an updated build.
Is there a way for me to update it instead of bugging the author?
I have no idea on compiling and stuff. (Is compiling the correct term?)

There are a few guides to compiling the game in the Toolbox, you might have to dig a bit. You’ll still have to rely on the hybrid inventory author to make updates, but you won’t have to wait for them to make new executable.

Could we just get this mainlined already, seems like it would be an upgrade to the current inventory system.
