# Just... died

Pretty much the title. In the latest experimental, I got hit by a few zombies (no infections) and disassembled a flashlight. When I was done, I was at over 160 pain, nothing was near me at all, and I was apparently nauseous. 2 steps later, I died to nothing.

Betting some sort of temperature SNAFU there. Head either froze or underflowed and hit the insta-kill at too-high. (Or there’s another insta-kill at too cold.)

If it helps, I didn’t get any messages about frostbite, it displayed (at lowest) -2C, and I was able to literally watch my health chip away as I slowly died.
Edit: Also, the head very cold appeared after my head magically dropped to red (I watched it tick down during flashlight disassembly).

Last time we had rogue HP loss was failing to normalize 'em on startup, and I fixed that a while back. :-/

The more disturbing thought comes from why it was stuck there, and how it came to be broken.
