# Items can't be picked up individually. (Ver. 5647)

Exactly what it says on the tin. Examining a pile of rags for example shows:

-23 rags

Rather than

-rag  
-rag  
-rag  
-rag  
etc.  
On a completely (maybe) unrelated note, I also can’t make pebbles despite having 6 rocks in my inventory.

Before picking up, type the number of items you want to pick up.

Example:

I want 7 of those rags.

So press 7 and then select the rags for picking up. It’s much handier that 1000s of rags that aren’t stacks.

Thank you for informing me of this. I agree it’s totally cleaner and easier on my eyes, I just didn’t know it was intentional.

No problem. It took me a while to realize that was possible too.
