# Is plant marrow edible?

yes it is edible, but its better cooked.  
don’t remember hearing about thorny zombies though

They are essentially plant fiber piñatas, too.

Every time I meet one in early game on one of my wilderness runs, I dream of all the blankets and strings it will make me once butchered.
