It’s something I could take a look at (I’m a professional Android dev), but I can’t give any promises. It took me a few evenings just to get it compiling on Windows, no idea how hard it would be to get it compiled to run on an android device. Might give it a look when I get home tonight.[/quote]
Well I have a few ideas for using the swipe motions for ease of access to menus. But I have a 10" tablet using Android 4.0.1(or was it v4.0.3…). Anyway, my point is you could require the user to have a USB keyboard and mouse(I have usb standard on my device) Then no one could complain about the controls.
-Pinch in or out for 1 zoom at a time.
-Make the bottom of the screen black showing relevant health and other info.
-Swipe from top to down = inventory
-Swipe left to right = Character information / skills etc
-Swipe right to left = Map
-Swipe bottom to top = Mini map?
-Optional semi-clear numeric keypad directional on either left or right screen.
-Optional USB numeric keypad?(i got one of those too, makes life tremendously easier to play)
I would be very keen on trying this on my android tablet, especially if you could work in chestholes tiles (even the low res ones of his) But no tiles? Not problem. It would kick the living(undead?) crap out of 99% of the trash on android if you got this game running.
…now the pisser of it is…finding a functional stable version =/
If you make it for my low version of android. I’d be happy since I can’t upgrade it =/
