# How do I get ASCII graphics back?

Title says it all. When I hit the key for look around, it doesn’t tell me where the items are so when I look around in the helicopter crash it says there’s items but no location for them.

Under options, there is an option for tiles. Just turn that off and you will get ASCII back.

Oh, so you’re getting that too? That’s nice to know. I’ve posted a [fix to that particular issue on the forums](http://smf.cataclysmdda.com/index.php?topic=3254.msg50402#msg50402), but it still hasn’t been picked up.
