# Help with welding rig

I cant seem to be able to use it to repair my vehicle. Is there something i’m missing or it doesn’t work like this anymore?

Either you’re missing the skills needed to repair a part, proper eye protection (Welding goggles) or the batteries in the rig has run out.

Either get the skills required to weld, find proper eye protection, or hook the rig up to another running car via jumper cable to transfer power.

You could also find a solar panel and attach that to the rig too.

Seems that putting a solar panel on top of the welder, together with a storage battery made it work.

Yeah you have ran ot of power, consider making a big solar charging station for ur batteries so you never run out of power, just swap batteries when you need them.
