# Help with software?

I dunno where to post this, but I am having some technical issues with downloading mods. After my winrar trial expired, I deleted it to download my mods without having to extract them as rar files. However, they still save as rar files and I can’t get them open. How do I download mods as normal zipped folders and not as the rar files?

Try [https://www.7-zip.org/](https://www.7-zip.org/) - it should be possible to unpack rar archive with it.
