# Heat dependent and clothing

is there any way to protect against the negative effects from heat dependent? From the description, I’m guessing that clothing doesn’t affect it in any way, but I’m still holding out hope that it does. Maybe a full set of Thermal electric gear? it’s a pretty severe negative, and while I’m enjoying the challenge, I’m hoping I’ll be able to mitigate it in some way later.

Maybe try carrying around a small space heater? They increase the ambient temperature and IIRC that’s the value that heat dependent is based on, I dunno if it will work but it might.

Good idea, wonder if the vehicle based one increases ambient in tiles around the vehicle… and of a cart would be foldable with a heater installed… gonna have to test later… for science!
