# Healing NPC allies

Is there any way to heal any ally with an infection? I tried everything obvious while I was holding my disinfectant, and then I tried giving it to him, and dropping it on the ground for him to pick it up. None of these worked.

I believe that when you walk in to them there is an option to examine their wounds. I haven’t needed to heal an NPC for a long time, so I’m not sure about anything further than that.

Yeah, you can examine their wounds, and previously, I managed to get them to equip splints to the correct limb, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to medicate them.

Walking towards them would make a menu pop up with one of the option saying use item or something like that
