# Good pierce weapons

are there any? i want to play a pierce based character, but the awl pike is awful, and there are a ton of really good cutting weapon. how come the top tier pierce weapons are so much worse than the top tear cut weapons? hell, even the but of my gun is a better melee weapon then an awl pike vs low armour opponents, and a zveihander is better in any situation.

Piercing weapons are a bit broken for now. The awl pike is as powerful as you’re going to get.

Piercing weapons make wonderful throwing weapons, though. I’d avoid relying too much on piercing for now.

Steel Spears are really good for me. Throw on far enemy’s and pierce on close combat
