# Gas masks not protecting from smoke?

Okay so the build that was released on the 6th despite having an active gas mask that had an environmental protection rating of 19 (from being reinforced) but smoke seems to just go straight through. I don’t know if it is the same for tear gas and stuff but it might.

I can confirm gas mask not helping against smoke recently, it might have been from as far back as build 9711.

Is that the same bug? Sure, they won’t walk through smoke without asking but they also cough heavily and breathe in smoke right now.

Seems like Air Filtration System CBM don’t work too
