# Fumbling weapons?

I attached a bayonet to a fusion rifle, but half the time I drop the thing on the ground when meleeing. Is this because it’s a bulky weapon, or maybe my dexterity is too low, or some sort of bug?

Yeah, it’s probably it getting stuck in the thing you are stabbing.

Yep, it’s getting stuck. It usually 1 hit kills which made me think it was just falling on the ground. I was able to get it to happen with a bear, and the rifle would appear wherever I killed the bear which must mean it was stuck in him. Poor bear. A note in the log would be nice though, there is no text whatsoever when this happens.
