Just today, playing version 0.D-4736-g0f5bd17047 I took out a burner zombie (or whatever they’re called) and took his flamethrower. When I fire the flamethrower, it is apparently loud enough to make my ears ring. Is this a bug, or are real military flamethrowers much louder than I’m imagining?

I also don’t remember this happening in older versions, but can’t recall for sure whether I had hearing protection last time I used a flamethrower.

I think its a bug [this doesn’t sound that loud.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPQYK5ZMbWY) the flamethrower in-game is different but it’s not like it is causing a mini explosion as a normal gun does.

Yeah that’s exactly the kind of thing I was imagining, which is why I was confused.
