Anyone know any good places to find explosives/materials to make explosives, im trying to blow up a couple of large buildings

Proven that the buildings you are trying to demolish are not made from concrete, setting them on fire is considerably easier and more effective.
if you cant burn them, yeah search in bunkers.

i wonder why explosives and ammo are so hard to make if you don’t have huge stores of material, maybe someday we can make explosive charges out of gunpowder from bullets albeit alot of them, im trying to destroy concrete buildings… without spending hours digging into bunkers

Your best bet for explosives is military bunkers or high level chemistry. Labs usually have a load of chemistry books and materials if you need to level it. What exactly do you want to blow up? There are more efficient ways to do most things explosives can do.

I would torch that triffid grove. It would take a lot of explosives and the result wouldn’t be any better than fire. For the rest explosives are the only safe and effective way to do it.

Alternatively you could try filling the biggest drums/ containers you can find with gasoline and fire at it or use a smaller explosive as the fuse… The resulting explosion + fire should do pretty good.
