# E38d33d scrolling around in the overhear map is extremely laggy

When I hit “m” to go to the overhear map and scroll around it is excruciatingly slow because of lag.
I’m using the windows graphical version with Windows 8 on an HP laptop.

Hmmmm im on a win 7 laptop and i get no lag on the overmap… Maybe this is the issue? Ive heard win8 has occasional issues with some thing but im not sure as i never used one.

I’m getting the same on WinXP 32bit.

So am I.
You using versions with displayed horde indicators? There’s suspicion that those might be slowing things.

Yes, ever since horde indicators were added, the map is super slow.

Christ, why do I keep typing overhear instead of overhead?
But yeah that sounds like that may be the problem.

Belenos has already got a potential fix up for review for this, so it should hopefully be fixed soon. 🙂
