This would also be acceptable! I just wanted to be a complete dork and incorporate game mechanics into the poem so it’d be clear it was about Cataclysm DDA. That, and I wanted to keep the general “Roses are red, Violets are blue” rhyming scheme, and “first aid kit (2)” worked perfectly for that.

Alternate captions for that picture that I considered and then rejected were “This First Aid Kit has two uses: Let’s share it!” and the more simple but more crass, “Let’s FAK!”

started abab but aabb rhyming scheme just sounds soooo much better.

roses are red  
doors holdin zed  
violets are blue  
while arrows fly through

cataclysmic fun ahead  
too much we may dread  
the hordes of zombies  
or swarms of some bees

find some cataclysmic bling  
scavengers steal everything  
hearts stop this Valentines Day  
starting again means back away

some newbies use bats  
but Jakers likes top hats  
Jack Rouge throws knives  
I hope that Chaz thrives

across this great plain  
many cry out in pain  
well make em all pay  
for valentines day

keep them repaired  
don’t ever be scared  
death cars cure roads of dead  
before ever you hit the bed

this poem is hard  
someone get a bard  
at romance Im not known  
poem ends: forever alone

I dont think i’ll have enough time to draw this weekend so have this unfinished drawing, its still got a few things I would have liked to fix, but its already half decent now.

Hey neat, thanks! 😃 I’ll need to try and draw more stuff in this style - Looking back at it I’m actually really happy with how it turned out - usually I can’t really do dramatic-looking stuff because my style is so toony, but actually I kinda got the serious feel I’ve been looking for for quite some time now, so hey! I just gotta keep practicing, is all.

Thanks! With a bit of practice I started to get kind of a knack for how fabrics and liquids are meant to move in 3D space, so I did what I could to make the blood look like it was running and dripping in a slightly chaotic manner, I guess! It’s really hard to describe what I mean but I’m glad that stood out in the picture! Personally I’m sorta more surprised at the fact that I was able to draw an open mouth semi-decently, usually it’s one of those things I have trouble figuring out in terms of angles and stuff, but it worked!

Now for another doodle (Maybe a WIP, maybe just a sketch for practice’s sake):

No, you’re fine. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have been so harsh. All this time out in the wastes and I nearly forgot about your medical records. History of anxiety atttacks, that would explain it… Wait, you responded like that just after I mentioned–

…Monster.

…What?

He… Coulter… I remembered when you said his name. Coulter. Coulter’s a monster…

Well, no shit, what’s that got to do with anything?

I mean he’s a monster.

We’ve just been over-- oh. Ohhhh.

Yes. I… he jumped me, roughed me up a bit. I swear I heard him speak. He called me a failure, said this was all my fault. I… I hit him. With a lead pipe. I hit him hard. I didn’t stop hitting him until he was on the ground. And then I kept hitting him after that. I was… [urp] I was afraid he’d get up if I stopped. I kept hitting him, yelling at him, screaming at him, and then… it’s a blur after that.[/i]

I love doing little dialogue snippets like this. Long story short ChazMoth got his head-injury because he was so preoccupied with taking out his anger on Coulter that he was distracted from… whatever it was that knocked him cold.
