# Draw Your Cataclysms

It is just not a task I am able to wrap my head around currently. It would be interesting to know how one modifies the tiles and how one knows what they’re supposed to be. I figure having a mental map of what to expect will be the bulk of the fight in motivating myself to try tileset making.

As for pen nibs: nibs to a tablet stylus are as lead sticks are to mechanical pencils. You need a new one when it’s worn so short you can’t draw well with it, and basically need tweezers or that nib-removey hole on the underside of your tablet to get the nib out. I believe the nibs are designed to be softer than the tablet surface, thus preventing the tablet itself from getting scratched. Also money spent on refills, and probably how it feels/handles when drawing.

Alternatively: I have heard of some work done by artists who like not spending big money on wee plastic things, who found just the right gauge of weedwhacker plastic to create endless cheapo nibs. I’ll have to look for that trick sometime.

Carefull though, if the nib \develops a sharp end it may end up scratching the tablet surface, and a worn surface it really gets in the way when you are trying to lay down nice linework.

This is literally me in my room, stuffed beside my bed in between a leather block with my laptop on it and a dresser.  
And I just can’t leave this place, it’s been my something to do when all else fails (hence why I say I’m back but not really am cause I find something to do the next day), but it’s nice to come here when I feel motivated to flail my mouse around a white canvas.

I think I’ve improved a little since the last time I was here, what do you guys think?  
Anyway, Foxy Frosting, Originally was FrozenFoxy or what ever it was in the name randomizer, So I was like: “beh, change the order and change a word or something to be somewhat original ;3” and this happened. Currently in a LMOE Shelter that I chose to spawn in, locked in cause an angry Giant Wasp was like “noe you can’t explore the world i wont let u \>:C”  
So yeah, Let’s hope to the heavily-mutated-end-game gods that I don’t die with this character right off the bat and look stupid again.

To be honest I had to cheat a little, shortly after releasing the image I encountered a Mi-Go…  
“fuck that” said FoobyDude as he quit out and reset the world to classic zombies.  
so I remade FoxyFrosting as there wasn’t much I had done with her in the first place and now I’m stuck out in the wilderness with a military bunker and 2 outposts with turrets, I feel as if I’ll never get a safe game unless I tone down the settings.

I had a hard time making this one cause I didn’t know what the hell Gracken was until I realized it was a person.  
And man oh man the description for the entity makes this so much creepier.

edit2: shortly afterwards, I was killed by a milspec turret trying to defend myself from a Spitter Zombie, I’m not giving up on this name or character though, think of it as parallel universes in which she knows what happens to her other selves, but doesn’t get any experience from what they did. (it’s easier for me to use 1 character and I like the name).

Hmm now I wonder how many times Ann and John have died. Judging by the fact my average life expectancy is about 3 in game weeks and that ALL of my survivors end being either of them; the number is probably high up in the 500s.

Also, I just so happened to meet an NPC in a shelter. Jonell Blakely is her name, owning a katana and looking like a scientist is her game… I guess?  
Welp, thats enough “being the most active user in this thread” for now, I need some sleep.  
edit: proportioning isn’t my strong-suit, at least not yet.

…I think I’ve got you beat by a few thousand deaths… YAY FIRE. Though the thought of having “Weasel” like awareness of your past Catacylsm experiences could get scary after a while… …especially considering how many times I’d died, used the ‘dump’ save from the “graveyard” folder and come back to life only to locate my old body and butcher it for the power supply only to decide “Well there’s some perfectly good meat there…” …is it cannibalism if I’m eating another me from a separate timeline? …or just reeeealy fucked up…?

Also FoobyDude, just what the hell is the character wearing?

Thanks, and It’s a Lost Submissive character that I chose to play as, so I got the Bondage Gear (it’s normal, I chose to colour it red) when spawning. Since Latex is shiny it gives me reason to practice shine and curves on bodies, that and it’s just plain hot to think about… _insert shame_

I found a mutagen, and I was given a snout and rough skin… This could either go very well, or very wrong.  
Also, SNOUTS ARE HARD TO DRAW!! I keep having to change the snout’s position and it’s shape cause I’m no good with animals :c  
At least I have a chance to make my name true (except the frosting part, that would be weird).
