# Cygwin Derp

Hi! I’m not very experienced with cygwin, or anything even related to it, and googling for this issue has not helped me at all.
Basically, I cannot pull or clone the git rep, it always gives me this error:
“Cloning into ‘Cataclysm-DDA’…
fatal: write error: Socket operation on non-socket”
The weird thing is, it worked fine before, I didn’t change anything, it just randomly started herping. Help?

I managed to get around it by cloning using the https link instead of the git one. Weird. But oh well, it’s working.
