after a brief pause, i came back to check the new version(s) of my favorite Roguelike. All nice and cool, except for repeated crashes of the game while sleeping / waiting. Several time these happened when hallucinating (which is a separate problem, can you really hallucinate while sleeping, or is it just called dreaming ? 😃 ), a few times while simply waiting. I run the latest Curses version. I will try the SDL version, to see if this is still a problem.

This is the error message i get :

If you downloaded Curses because of the tileset system, you can just turn them off in the options menu. And closing and opening tha game.

Try SDL, Curses is far more heavy for anyone’s computer.

this worked indeed. no more CTDs with the SDL version.
