# Chinese Wheelbarrow

The Chinese wheelbarrow is a type of wheelbarrow that seems better suited for post-apocalyptic needs than the only wheelbarrow currently present in the game. Its main difference from a normal wheelbarrow is that the wheel is in the center, so the person only needs to apply force to stabilize it or to provide acceleration rather than help carry a part of that weight, and the wheel is much bigger making it capable of traversing much worse terrain. Historically documented that people could single-handedly push 250 kg of crops for long distances, or carry 8 people (probably could carry more if more would fit, volume rather than weight seemed to be the main limitation). It could easily navigate footpaths and mountain trails as well. An innawoods survivor should be able to make one easily.

One problem I see with adding it to the game is that its not really a container-on-a-wheel like the normal wheelbarrow, but a rope-storage sorta thing. You cant transport water in it (unless its already in containers), but you can tie bundles of very long sticks to it. I’m not sure how someone would go about implementing that.

You can already make it in game by adding a wheel to a travois

Travois only fits 75L though.
