# Can't even start the game

Picture will explain everything. Anyway, I extracted all the files into a folder on the desktop and when I tried to start the game… DLed experimental on 10/5 if that helps…

This is exactly my problem. I created a topic about it yesterday but with no replies whatsoever. This happened to me with the curses version since build #389.

Apparently this is already in the [bug tracker](https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/issues/3464).
