# Cannot use Charge Rifle with internal UPS

If I turn on my Internal Unified Power System and attempt to use a Charge Rifle, then it ‘spins up’ when I hit fire but then immediately ‘spins down’ again before gaining any charge. Possibly due to not detecting a conventional UPS?
