# Cannot load CDDA main website

At my house I have to work with a dial-up connection for annoying reasons and on this connection only I cannot load [en.cataclysmdda.com](http://en.cataclysmdda.com), no matter what. I have tried different browsers to no success. Though on faster connections I have no issue in loading the website. When loading it says that the website address cannot be resolved. Not a major issue, but just something I figured I would bring up.

Oh, and if you wanted to know why I am stuck on dial-up at my house it is because the local internet companies want absurd amounts of money to put a line in, even though they have it available 100 feet down the road.

Not part of the support team but I may have a suggestion: Many times, address resolution errors happen due to your ISP’s DNS servers being overloaded or being generally crappy, try switching your DNS server settings to Google’s (8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4) and see if that works.

Hmm, it doesn’t seem to work do to some strange reason. But, thank you for your help, it isn’t really a major issue as I have other ways to access the site. I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do about it.
