# Can NPCs do parkour?

I need the NPC to get on the roof, but he’s just standing down there, can he do parkour? (There are just a bunch of zombies behind the building, I have a sniper rifle, and he has a pistol.)

I doubt it.
I’ve never had a character who knows it, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a companion who does either.
My companion is unable to follow me onto a roof using a normal ladder (stairs work, if those are built).

They can climb a normal ladder, but apparently can’t climb onto the roof using parkour like the main character, it’s a shame there’s no such mechanic.

To clarify, I meant a step ladder, not those attached to buildings (such as silos and and radio towers). They do indeed use the attached ones just fine.
And I don’t think there’s a construction recipe for attached ladders.
