# Butchery, How to

for the life of me I cannot figure out how to butcher with a rope and tree, the git isnt helping.

You still need a table or a leather/fiber mat to act as a flat surface. A tree stump might also count, I’m not 100% sure.

Some big game also needs a saw for full butchery but I can’t recall what. Probably moose and bear.

Also make sure it’s a long rope and not a short rope. The information that pops up when you try to butcher should also tell you what you’re missing.
