# Build 5999 - Diamond weapon recipes missing?

The recipes for diamond weapons seems to be no longer present in the lab journal-Gustav as of build 5999. Are diamond weapons being removed from the game or something?

This got me too. They were actually removed a long time ago, having been replaced with the “diamond” modifier on weapons. You can still make diamond weapons in a CVD machine.

It’s a machine in some lab finales. You used to need to be near one to craft diamond weapons, now you just need to use it like a terminal to coat your weapons in diamond.
