# \[Bloody Forever?\] V6 and V8 Engines have the same Power

What it says on the tin. Is there any reason the V6 and V8 engines both output 800 power?  
[size=1pt]…Because I could reeeeeally use something with more than 800 power for it’s weight…[/size]

[It was like that when I got there](https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/pull/2641/files), that’s all I can say. Engine power is now in JSON files, meaning it can be changed easily enough.

I [filed this as a bug](https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/issues/4179), so hopefully it should be resolved soonish.
