# 0.5 - With an expanded viewport in Windows, the item information window persists

Like so - in the first sceenshot, I selected the jeans, pressed Escape to exit, and the Jeans’ information stayed on screen.  
Unselecting any item from the pick-up list empties the information window itself, but leaves the rectangular frame of it in place.  
Entering a menu such as the Inventory does clear it, but still.

Is this fixed in the Windows Nightly builds, or should I just use Cygwin? This is really annoying.

Windows nightly builds and cygwin are giving you the exact same game, it’s just one you can pull at any time with and one only pulls once a day.

As for the problem itself, no I don’t believe it has been fixed yet, though I haven’t pulled yet today.

This affects Linux, as well.
